MY STORY…

I never had a desire to be a Sports Rehabilitator – I was just really lost and took the opportunities that arose. I kind of fell into my career, I worked as a Personal Trainer and a Class Instructor for 7 years and I knew I could do more and be more… but what?

I found a degree course at University which I thought was the next step as I love to learn new things. When it came to it actually being my daily career – it unfortunately didn’t keep me motivated. So, whilst at University I always had this idea of being my own boss (as I don’t take well to being told what to do).

After my degree I thought the grass would be greener and went off and set up my own rehabilitation centre. What I found was the grass was definitely NOT greener. More hours, more stress, less pay,  bigger over heads = NO LIFE. I was stuck! Something that I had put all my time, effort and savings in to was now the thing I hated as a career.  You feel obliged to keep plodding on -thinking it will get better and I will get my love back for it.

Another 12 months past by and I was still in the same place not really moving forward and now getting down about everything else surrounding me too. I felt completely stuck. I believe we come across opportunities in life at the perfect time, for a reason.

Right now, my priority is to create a perfect future for my family. What is my perfect future? Well firstly it would be retiring my parents fully so they can enjoy life and time together. Then, I’d like to create THE most amazing family home for our future family.

Almost three years ago I met my soul mate. Dean has played a huge part in my business success so far. He also inspires the hell out of me with his own business. He has the un-imaginable self belief and mindset that you can achieve anything and it’s infectious. Our goals and dreams are bigger than ever.

We have been trying to conceive for over a year now so I’m hopeful that we will be blessed with our own family sometime in the near future. I frequently imagine having twin boys first – then a girl. There will be no doubting that I will get to watch every second of them growing up and not miss a single thing like the daily school drop off, sports days and activities. More importantly, Dean will also be in a position to be there too.

I am fortunate to have the most amazing childhood memories. We didn’t have bags of money but we had everything we needed. I had a mum at the school gates and dad that loved us to bits and as I have grown up – I can now see the sacrifices they made to make sure it was as perfect as it was. My Dad worked his job tirelessly by getting up at 4.30am and not getting home till gone 6pm – 6 days a week. Regardless of the events of the day, every night we had a family dinner around the table – this is something Dean never had but it’s certainly what I want for us both to enjoy. It’s something which is really important for both Dean and I.

THIS is my “WHY”…

I’ve got big plans for the future of my business and my family. I’m inspired, motivated and ready to help others achieve the same success. So if you’re reading this and feel you would like to make a change for your family too – let’s work together and achieve some great things!
